David’s Bridal is taking the next step toward fully integrating its ecommerce and store operations as it moves into a tech-driven, asset-light retail model. The biggest customer-facing change will be the introduction of an endless aisle experience in select stores, delivered via full-scale digital touchscreens powered by Shopify that will allow shoppers to access the retailer’s entire inventory, enabling them to purchase items at the store’s point-of-sale and have them shipped them directly to their home.
The retailer’s digital transformation also include the implementation of Shopify’s next-generation POS system in the new tech-driven “Diamonds & Pearls by David’s” store format that was introduced in May 2025, with Deloitte Digital providing implementation, consulting and strategic advice for the initiative.
“At David’s, we’re not just evolving — we’re reimagining the entire bridal journey from inspiration to purchase, all through an AI, digital, asset-light lens,” said Kelly Cook, CEO of David’s Bridal in a statement. “By integrating with Shopify, we’re delivering unmatched, real-time access to our full selection of bridal and special occasion offerings through true commerce fluidity, resulting in a more seamless customer shopping experience.”
Other benefits of the Shopify integration include:

- Enhanced checkout experiences, including flexible payment options and seamless online-to-offline cart integration;
- Real-time inventory visibility across stores and online;
- A centralized hub for catalog, pricing, promotions and inventory;
- Automatic feature updates and built-in compliance, meaning no on-premise servers or manual patching are required; and
- Improved associate experience, with an intuitive backend that empowers staff with faster onboarding, real-time customer insights and more efficient returns and exchanges.
“Shopify gives brands the tools to build the future of commerce on their own terms,” said Harley Finkelstein, President of Shopify in a statement. “David’s Bridal is using our technology and a deep understanding of their customer to reimagine the bridal shopping experience — whether online, in-store or anywhere in between.”
Earlier this month, David’s Bridal partnered with MyRegistry.com to create a universal gifting registry platform. Retail media became an important part of the David’s Bridal business with the December 2024 launch of Pearl Media.
