Claire’s Expands to Mexico, Debuts Branded Body Care Products

Claire’s has opened a 1,227-square-foot flagship store in Mexico City’s Plaza Satélite that showcases the jewelry and accessories retailer’s reimagined look and feel, including the updated visual identify for PIERCED by Claire’s. The retailer will operate the store in partnership with retail services company Exalta.

Additionally, Claire’s has introduced C•Body, an exclusive line of body care products and accessories targeting “Gen Zalpha” that are created with quality vegan ingredients like shea butter and aloe vera. The debut collection includes lotions, face masks, foaming body washes and warming eye masks, and Claire’s plans to expand the assortment soon with items including layering fragrances and body sprays.

Claire’s also has named Chris Cramer as its new CFO and COO, reporting to Claire’s CEO Ryan Vero. Cramer most recently was President of Parade, a Gen Z-focused intimate and lifestyle apparel retailer, and prior to that he spent more than 20 years with Bath & Body Works and L Brands in leadership roles including CFO and COO.

As part of its evolution into a global fashion brand, Claire’s began prepping a kids’ TV show in November 2023 and has been making strides in the metaverse. Claire’s operates a total of 2,750 stores globally in 17 countries throughout North America and Europe, franchised stores in the Middle East and South Africa and a presence in 40+ partner retailers worldwide, including Kohl’s.
