QVC and HSN are launching “Shop With Us Live,” a livestream cross-platform shopping festival scheduled for November 6 and 7. The event will feature dozens of celebrities, influencers, fashion designers, chefs, hosts and special pop-in guests including Whoopi Goldberg, Dolly Parton, Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth.
The weekend event will run for 49 straight hours due to the end of Daylight Savings Time on the QVC and HSN Streaming Service, with more than 200 combined hours of live video shopping. It also will appear on television through QVC and HSN’s channel; social media sites including Facebook Live, TikTok and YouTube; and on the retailers’ websites.
Shop With Us Live will include early Black Friday sale prices on thousands of items, including both national and indie brands as well as QVC and HSN’s own exclusive labels. The focus will be on the holidays with deals on hot tech items, festive apparel, stocking stuffers and holiday décor. Additionally, all orders placed during the festival are guaranteed to arrive by Dec. 24.
“At any moment throughout the weekend, holiday shoppers will have the choice of four to six different live video shopping experiences happening simultaneously across their mobile devices, computers and TVs,” said Brian Beitler, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer for QVC US and HSN in a statement. “This event will showcase our unmatched ability to engage millions of shoppers in dynamic, interactive video shopping on virtually every major live video platform, reaching customers everywhere with incredible finds at unbelievable value.”

QVC and HSN were among the first companies to popularize live shopping on television in the 1980s and they are well-positioned to take advantage of the concept’s modern iteration. The livestreaming market is expected to hit $11 billion in sales in the U.S. during 2021 and $35 billion by 2024, according to data from Coresight Research.
