Wayfair has launched MyWay, a membership program with benefits ranging from free shipping to special members-only promotions. The program is also supported by furniture retailers Joss & Main, AllModern and Birch Lane in the U.S.
The program carries an annual fee of $29.99, and benefits for shoppers include:
- Free shipping with no minimum order on millions of products, and free next-day shipping on thousands of items;
- A 25% discount off in-home assembly, installation and upgraded delivery options; and
- Access to exclusive perks and promotions, including unique curated items.
“We are always looking for new ways to enhance the shopping experience and bring even more value to our customers,” said Ed Macri, Chief Product and Marketing Officer at Wayfair in a statement. “With the introduction of MyWay, we are inviting customers to enjoy an elevated level of service and value while offering yet another reason to make Wayfair their go-to destination for everything home.”
Shoppers are increasingly open to paid loyalty programs, provided they offer worthwhile benefits: 37% of shoppers said they would pay for an enhanced program in 2018, up from 30% in 2017, according to Bond Brand Loyalty. Acceptance levels are even higher among key customer groups: early technology adopters (69%), Gen Z (47%), Millennials (46%) and households with children (44%).
