Rakuten Offers Members Early Access to New York Fashion Week Designs

Rakuten has returned to New York Fashion Week and is offering its members exclusive items for pre-sale from the runway shows of designers Prabal Gurung, Sergio Hudson, Patricia Bonaldi (PatBO) and Rachel Scott (Diotima). The items will be revealed in the designers’ respective shows during NYFW, which kicks off Feb. 9 and runs through Feb. 23, 2024, and will be shoppable immediately after they are shown. Additionally, Rakuten is upping its cash back rate to 10% for a limited time.

“Building on the excitement from last season’s partnership, Rakuten is once again meeting fashion lovers where we know they’re most captivated — New York Fashion Week,” said Vicki Wagner McRae, SVP of Brand, Creative and Communications at Rakuten in a statement. “At a time when shoppers are inspired to buy quality, investment pieces, Rakuten makes that moment even more thrilling by giving them an edge — helping them score pieces from their favorite designers before anyone else and with an incredible cash back deal that makes shopping a more rewarding experience.”

Rakuten also is partnering with celebrity stylist Erin Walsh to translate runway trends into fun, wearable outfits, from “street chic” to “layers in white” date night looks. Rakuten members can purchase Walsh’s picks, plus offerings from more than 40 designers and retailers, during the return of Rakuten’s “wear the runway” event Feb. 12-14. Featured retailers and designers will include Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Theory, Alice + Olivia and Moda Operandi.
