Party City has partnered with The Parker Avery Group to roll out a price optimization solution based on the solution provider’s Enterprise Intelligence analytics platform. The retailer chose Parker Avery because of its retail-focused analytics capabilities and ability to provide insights that go beyond price recommendations to help inform decision-making.
“We are excited about the partnership with Parker Avery as their approach perfectly aligns with our business strategy,” said Joel Carbaugh, Senior Director of Pricing and Business Analytics at Party City in a statement. “The end solution will play a crucial role in optimizing our pricing and achieving a balanced trade-off to meet category and corporate goals.
Party City officially emerged from bankruptcy in October 2023 with most of its 800-store fleet intact. That same month the retailer deployed a solution from TradeBeyond designed to help improve its inventory management, merchandising and vendor compliance. In November 2023 Party City launched its digital party-planning marketplace, Party+ Marketplace, developed in partnership with Mirakl.
