Pacsun, Camping World and Lush Join the Uber Delivery Portfolio

No one could accuse Uber Eats of the foolish consistency that’s the hobgoblin of little minds, as Ralph Waldo Emerson phrased it. Moving ever-farther from its roots in food delivery, the platform has added the youth-oriented retailer Pacsun, outdoor gear leader Camping World and Lush, maker of fresh, handmade, ethically sourced bath and body products, to its stable of retailers.

Shoppers can get on-demand delivery from hundreds of these retailers’ stores through the Uber, Uber Eats and Postmates apps. Deliveries are free on eligible orders for members of the Uber One loyalty program.

“As we expand retail delivery across Uber and Uber Eats, we’re making it easier than ever for customers to discover and shop the brands they love — all in one place — while also demonstrating our ability to support an increasingly diverse range of retail partners,” said Hashim Amin, Head of Retail for North America at Uber in a statement.

Like its delivery platform competitors, Uber has been adding retailers to its portfolio at a fast clip. Last month, Hibbett added an Uber delivery option, following Best Buy, Dollar Tree and Dollar General, DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse), Sephora and Dick’s Sporting Goods, all earlier this year. Earlier this month, Albertsons extended the free trial period for the Uber One membership program to members of both its paid and free loyalty programs.
