Seeking to expand same-day delivery access to traditionally underserved rural areas, Dollar General now offers delivery service via the MyDG app and the retailer’s website from more than 17,000 stores. This growth has been complemented by Dollar General’s ongoing partnership with DoorDash, serving 18,000+ Dollar General stores, and the company’s recently launched Uber Eats partnership, available from 17,000+ stores.

“MyDG Delivery is helping bridge the digital gap by extending same-day delivery to rural communities nationwide,” said Lydia Thacher, VP of Digital Commerce at DG in a statement. “We are proud to offer a service that not only brings convenience to our existing customers but also introduces new customers to the Dollar General brand through a frictionless digital experience.”

In December 2025, Dollar General revealed plans to open 460 new North American stores in the coming fiscal year, which ends in January 2027. Already, approximately 75% of the U.S. population lives within five miles of a DG store.
