WorkForce Software has acquired the retail and hospitality scheduling solution provider Workplace. The combined companies will put an emphasis on driving productivity through improved employee engagement, using collaborative scheduling and accurate forecasting to optimize employee scheduling.
Built from the ground up for consumer-facing sectors with a high degree of demand variability, Workplace offers a next-generation cloud scheduling solution. Paired with WorkForce Software’s workforce management suite, the acquisition gives customers the benefit of more than 47 years of collective industry domain experience.
WorkForce Software, a portfolio company of Insight Venture Partners, will maintain its headquarters in Livonia, Mich. and will add Workplace’s offices in the UK, the U.S. and Australia.
