Boot Barn Rolls Out In-Store Digital Hub For BOPIS, BORIS And Endless Aisle

Boot Barn has rolled out Range Finder, its in-store interactive digital solution, to all 250 of its stores. The system allows store associates to assist shoppers with BOPIS and BORIS (buy online/return in-store) transactions. In addition, it helps the retailer provide both an “endless aisle” and a “finite aisle” experience to assist with sales of boots and Western wear.

Using Elo displays, Boot Barn associates can narrow searches to just the products in-stock at each individual store, or expand their search to items available throughout the enterprise. (Check out the video below learn more.)

“Sometimes shopping for boots can be an overwhelming experience if you don’t know what you’re looking for,” said John Hazen, Chief Digital Officer, Boot Barn in an interview with Retail TouchPoints. “An added benefit of Range Finder is that it helps new or seasonal store associates train on how to sell boots. It allows these associates to quickly look through all the attributes of a particular work boot or Western-style boot.”

Boot Barn uses the Elo management tool EloView “to quickly update the Range Finder with seasonal content, new videos, different promotions or messaging we may want to run in a regional market,” Hazen added.
