Sephora Adds Same-Day Delivery in Time for the Holidays


Sephora has launched same-day delivery in both the U.S. and Canada through a partnership with Delivery Solutions. The platform offers Sephora access to an ecosystem of delivery providers and provides shoppers with features including real-time delivery tracking, estimated time of delivery and live chat.

“At Sephora, our priority is to deliver a seamless experience to all of our clients, and this partnership with Delivery Solutions was the natural next step in the evolution of maximizing efficiencies in the purchasing power of our shoppers,” said Sree Sreedhararaj, Chief Technology Officer for Sephora Americas in a statement. “With the ease and strength of Delivery Solutions’ ecosystem, Sephora can look forward to expanding our reach and new client acquisition, while continuing to service our existing clients with a more streamlined way to receive their beauty essentials the same day they need them.”

Same-day delivery has been expanding across the retail industry recently:

  • Dollar General partnered with DoorDash to offer same-day delivery from more than 9,000 stores;
  • Dollar Tree added same-day delivery from nearly 7,000 stores in partnership with Instacart; and
  • Bed Bath & Beyond teamed up with Uber to launch same-day delivery of baby and kids products from 120 buybuy BABY and 750 Bed Bath & Beyond stores.
