Resale Aggregator Platform Beni Debuts iOS App, Adds Poshmark, ThredUp and More

Resale aggregator platform Beni has launched an app and added a slate of new partners.

Resale search engine Beni announced a series of new partnerships with top brands, including Poshmark, ThredUp and Patagonia, and launched an app version of its platform for iOS users.

First launched in 2021 as a browser extension, Beni now boasts more than 50 resale partners that together allow the platform to aggregate nearly 80% of all online resale listings. As it launches its new iOS app, Beni also has added a slate of big-name partners, including Poshmark, ThredUp, Grailed, Kidsy and Out&Back. The company also announced new brand-owned resale programs with Patagonia’s WornWear and Treet-powered resale sites, including Girlfriend Collective, Dôen and Cuts.

“To make resale the norm, we aim to meet shoppers where they already shop and show them relevant resale alternatives,” said Sarah Pinner, CEO of Beni in a statement. “Our work with Vestiaire Collective, The RealReal and Ebay, along with our newest partners, means unrivaled access to resale deals for our users. Beni is not only reshaping the landscape of secondhand shopping; it’s evolving into the premier gateway to a world where purchasing used is as effortless as buying new.”

Beni also has made a number of updates to its functionality, including:

  • A new mobile extension for Safari;
  • A unified search function that lets users search the entire Beni database for specific brands or styles on mobile or desktop;
  • The ability for users to set alerts for specific products and be notified when a product fitting the bill becomes available for sale;
  • The ability to save items in a virtual Beni cart to revisit and purchase at a later time; and
  • A referral program that will allow users to earn credit for bringing in new Beni customers that can be redeemed for discounts and offers.
