Payment technology provider Zooz has hired Chester Ritchie as its EVP of Sales and Business Development. In this role, Ritchie will oversee the sales team in customer acquisition efforts and expansion into new markets.
The Zooz platform is designed to connect merchants to multiple financial and technological entities and payment methods via a Smart Routing feature that directs each payment to the most appropriate provider for that transaction.
Using the solution means retailers would not have to rely on only one payments provider, thus potentially avoiding international credit card fees and high “decline” rates that can stem from a single integration.

Ritchie most recently served as Head of Business Development for Worldpay. Under his supervision, Worldpay launched the largest multi-billion-dollar IPO on the London Stock Exchange in 2015. He also worked for CAM Commerce Solutions, which experienced a NASDAQ appreciation of more than 1,800% during his tenure.
