Nike is making several top-level personnel changes in key areas, with new leaders in marketing, design, innovation and technology. The brand is promoting from within in several cases as well as tapping Amazon:

  • John Hoke, a 30-year Nike veteran, will become Chief Innovation Officer for Nike, Inc. He was most recently Nike’s first Chief Design Officer and will work with Tom Clarke, President, Innovation, Nike, Inc. to accelerate the brand’s innovation strategies;
  • The new Chief Design Officer will be 26-year Nike designer Martin Lotti, who most recently held the same position for the Jordan brand. Both Hoke and Lotti’s new jobs start immediately;
  • Dr. Muge Erdirik Dogan will be Nike’s new Chief Technology Officer, effective Nov. 27, 2023. She was most recently President of Amazon Fashion and has held positions there including VP for Last Mile Delivery and GM of Beauty and Baby for North America; and
  • Effective Jan. 2, 2024, Nicole Hubbard Graham will become Nike’s new Chief Marketing Officer, leading the company’s global brand marketing team. Graham, a previous 18-year Nike veteran, most recently co-founded Adopt, a minority-owned company and creative agency. She replaces Dirk-Jan van Hameren, who will be retiring after 31 years with Nike.
