Neiman Marcus Adds C-Level Brand and Retail Leaders

Seeking to advance its Revolutionize Luxury Experiences initiative, Neiman Marcus Group has named executives to fill two new high-level positions: Chief Brand Officer and Chief Retail Officer. Nabil Aliffi, previously Global Chief Creative Officer at Soho House, will join the retailer in the brand position, and Stefanie Tsen Ward will be promoted to the retail leadership spot. Ward has been with Neiman Marcus since 2018, most recently as SVP, Customer Engagement. Both Aliffi and Ward will report to Ryan Ross, who took the helm as President of Neiman Marcus Brand in August 2022.

“Nabil is a creative visionary who brings a unique perspective in making Neiman Marcus a luxury lifestyle destination,” said Ross in a statement. “He knows our customer and how to create a platform for loyal engagement across channels.”

Ward will be responsible for activating experiences across the brand’s 36 stores, partnering closely with Aliffi to bring the Neiman Marcus brand vision and experience to life. She also will continue to accelerate the company’s integrated retail strategy, helping the retailer’s 3,500+ selling associates offer the strong customer service the brand is known for.

“Stefanie was instrumental in leading the development of our remote selling capabilities, powered by our proprietary CONNECT technology,” said Ross. “She creates unequivocal, customer-centric retail experiences and inspires our selling associates to engage in new and innovative ways.”

Neiman Marcus has committed to $200 million in strategic investments in stores over a three-year period, with the goal of creating unique brand experiences, adding new spaces for style advisors and providing entertaining food and beverage concepts. The retailer also has committed to elevating its digital experience, including making updates to the Neiman Marcus app.
