Barneys New York Promotes Lieberman To EVP Of Digital

Luxury retailer Barneys New York has promoted Josh Lieberman to the new position of Executive Vice President of Digital. Lieberman will be responsible for overseeing the retailer’s e-Commerce and digital businesses for Barneys.com and BarneysWarehouse.com, as well as marketing, merchandising, operations, creative and technology.  

Lieberman joined Barneys New York as VP of Digital Marketing in November 2012, and served as the company’s SVP of Digital Marketing from May 2016 to August 2016. He helped oversee the revamp of Barneys.com and BarneysWarehouse.com, as well as the retailer’s iPhone and iPad apps, to enhance content personalization and the customer experience.

“From behind the scenes, Josh has really been the driver of our fast-growing e-Commerce business and expanding digital portfolio,” said Daniella Vitale, Chief Operating Officer at Barneys New York in a statement. “He has provided incredible leadership, poise and guidance through the ever-changing world of technology.
