Jamba Juice Set To Roll Out Mobile Ordering App For 600 Locations

Jamba Juice has revealed that it will fully roll out a mobile “order ahead” option into its Jamba Juice mobile app in mid-November. The feature, which is designed to reduce in-store wait times, will be supported in more than 600 Jamba Juice locations in the U.S.

In August, the first phase of the rollout affected more than 200 stores located in California, New York, Chicago and Hawaii. An additional 400 stores are set to roll out the feature in the coming weeks.

When mobile users order with the feature, they can set their exact pick-up time, which can be scheduled for the day of, or the following day.

“The nationwide launch of the order ahead app will allow Jamba to compete effectively for the on-the-go consumer in the quick-service restaurant space, where consumers increasingly engage with brands on different platforms at different stages of the path to purchase,” said Julie S. Washington, Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer at Jamba. “Mobile has become a part of doing business that guests expect from Jamba, and the mobile app will provide us with additional data about app users and their purchase behavior which will enable us to provide more targeted messaging and drive increased revenue.”

Olo, an online and mobile ordering platform, developed and deployed the mobile order ahead feature for the app. The Jamba Juice app launched earlier in 2015.
