Shoppers today are leveraging multiple sources to find the best buy. A new app, called Clipless, is aggregating deals and offers from more than 2,000 sources.
Clipless uses a proprietary algorithm to publish deals from sources including Amazon Local, Foursquare, Gilt City, Groupon, LivingSocial, Restaurant.com and Yelp.
The mobile app was designed to provide shoppers with instant access to a variety of deals from several retailers and coupon aggregators, eliminating the need for printing, cutting and saving paper coupons, according to company sources. Using geo-location technology, Clipless then sends alerts when customers are nearby a store or restaurant offering a deal.

“We want to help people save money without them having to do the work,” said Michael Barnathan, CEO and Founder of Clipless. “Clipless makes that possible by continuously searching, aggregating, sorting, ranking, and delivering deals to users wherever they currently are or wherever they are planning to go. When designing Clipless, our goal was to create an app that works with people’s lives, so that they are proactively being delivered deals when and where they need them most.” Prior to founding Clipless, Barnathan was an engineer at Google.
Clipless is currently available for Android 2.3 and higher in the Google Play store, and will launch for iOS in fall 2013.
