Anthropologie has unveiled its first digital-only catalog for its AnthroLiving collection on Pinterest as it seeks to connect with consumers searching for home décor inspiration on the popular social media app.
Launching on March 22, AnthroLiving’s digital catalog offers consumers an immersive and interactive look at the season’s Spring Home Collection, including home décor and furniture. In addition to browsing products for shopping inspiration, consumers also can Pin their favorite selections and create a personal board with the items they want to buy now, or later.
In the U.S., the number of Pinners who have engaged with shopping surfaces has increased by 80% year over year. Although 97% of top searches on Pinterest are non-branded, Anthropologie already has a fan base on the platform, with searches for “anthropologie home décor inspiration” increasing 1,057% year over year, and “anthropologie mirror” up 375% year over year, according to Pinterest.
“No matter how much shopping has changed, inspiration will always play a critical role in helping consumers decide what to buy for their homes, which is why we chose Pinterest for Anthropologie’s new digital-only catalog,” said Barbra Sainsurin, Executive Director of eCommerce at Anthropologie in a statement. “As home continues to be the ultimate sanctuary, we wanted to meet consumers where they are and find a new, more immersive and interactive way to shop for their spring refresh.”
