Edible Brands, the parent company of Edible (formerly Edible Arrangements), has launched a new ecommerce brand, FreshFruit.com, that offers subscription delivery of premium fresh fruits.

“Our customers have always trusted Edible for the finest quality fruit,” said Somia Farid Silber, President of Edible Brands in a statement. “FreshFruit.com extends that commitment by offering consumers the same hand-selected fruits found in our signature arrangements, delivered fresh to their home on a schedule that fits their lifestyle.”

Each box is packed with a curated selection of popular everyday whole fruits like bananas, oranges, pineapples, cantaloupe, strawberries, grapes and blueberries — with seasonal fruit options launching soon. For those seeking an extra nutritional boost, select boxes also will include kale.

Launching with four whole-fruit boxes available to order online in regular and large sizes, FreshFruit.com offers customers a range of purchasing options, including:

  • Weekly deliveries (every seven days);
  • Monthly deliveries (every 28 days); and
  • A one-time purchase alternative for those looking to try the service or purchase fresh fruit in a pinch.

FreshFruit.com will tap into Edible’s retail footprint and logistics network, which reaches nearly 80% of U.S. households, to handle delivery.

“We noticed a growing demand for easy access to high-quality fresh fruit,” said Erica Randerson, VP of Ecommerce at Edible Brands in a statement. “FreshFruit.com is our response to that need. We’re confident FreshFruit.com will be a welcome addition for busy individuals and families looking to keep their homes stocked with quality produce without making yet another trip to the grocery store.”

Edible is in the midst of refresh as it celebrates its 25th anniversary while Farid Silber, who is the daughter of Founder Tariq Farid, settles into her role at the helm. Other recent initiatives have included the company’s rebrand, a new marketing approach, multiple product expansions and a new store concept.
