7-Eleven Expands Delivery Options With DoorDash, Postmates Partnerships

Seeking to expand options for on-demand delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic, 7-Eleven has entered new alliances with DoorDash and Postmates nationally and with Favor Delivery in Texas. These additional options augment 7-Eleven’s own 7NOW delivery app.

In addition, customers can search “7-Eleven near me” across Google Search, Google Maps and Google Assistant to order from 7-Eleven locations. Contactless delivery will be available for customers who request it.

“How convenience is defined is completely different today than it was just a month ago,” said Chris Tanco, COO of 7-Eleven in a statement. Increased demand for home delivery caused by stay-at-home orders accelerated 7-Eleven’s previous plans to provide wider access to on-demand services. “Expanding the marketplace beyond our stores has been a strategic goal,” said Raghu Mahadevan, VP of Digital and Head of Delivery in a statement.
