ShopRite, Procter & Gamble and ProCamps have partnered to host a Virtual Guest Teacher series that will bring professional athletes to distance learning classrooms across multiple cities during May.
Professional football, baseball and soccer players will conduct an interactive virtual class for children to help keep them engaged, learning and physically active while they are away from their classrooms. The lessons will include pop quizzes on history and science, physical fitness and the opportunity for kids to ask their guest teacher questions.
Shoprite will live stream the virtual classes from its Facebook page. Scheduled classes include:
- Golden Tate: May 12 at 2:30 PM ET;
- Didi Gregorius: May 19 at 12:00 PM ET; and
- Christie Pearce Rampone: May 26 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
