VSP Global Opens Initial Brick-And-Mortar Eyewear Store

VSP Global, a vision benefits company, has opened the first of three Eyeconic brick-and-mortar locations planned for the Chicago market. The locations serve as an extension of the company’s e-Commerce site, connecting products, services and a VSP network doctor.

The store will contain a curated selection of approximately 500 frames, with endless aisle integration expanding the total number of options to 2,300 styles across 60 brands. Shoppers also can schedule eye exams and browse eyewear online before visiting the location.

“We are thrilled to bring the very first Eyeconic stores to Chicago and offer customers a differentiated eye care and eyewear experience,” said Bill Vaughan, President of VSP Retail in a statement. “Transparent prices and seamless digital and physical retail access are the cornerstones of our brand. And in partnership with a Doctor of Optometry, we now offer comprehensive eye exams using state-of-the-art technology to ensure eye health and wellness remains the focal point of our customer journey.”
