Video And VR Technology Bring Store Tours To NRF Expo Floor

A booth design using two stacked shipping containers will allow NRF 2017 attendees to see for themselves how retail can be redefined for consumers who are hungry for experiences. The iQmetrix booth #4323 will use iQmetrix Endless Aisle, 360 video and Samsung Gear VR to provide virtual tours of a surf shop, complete with a virtual reality demo that allows consumers to test surfboards. A separate VR experience will put attendees in a car seat and allow them to customize an automobile.

iQmetrix will be walking retailers through real-world case studies from Samsung, tentree, a major shoe retailers and others to demonstrate how solutions including endless aisle, digital signage, POS, metrics and payments can work together to enhance an in-store shopping experience.

“We’re extremely excited for what we have to show retailers at this year’s event,” said Christopher Krywulak, President and CEO of iQmetrix in a statement. “Not only will our booth be unlike any other, but the solutions we’re able to present will truly help retailers fix what for many is a broken in-store experience.”
