Casual lifestyle brand Tom Tailor has launched a new mobile shopping experience through the NewStore omnichannel cloud platform’s Consumer App. Currently available in Germany, where Tom Tailor is headquartered, the app will eventually be expanded into additional markets.
Tom Tailor was able to integrate the app into its existing ecommerce platform Scayle, affording real-time product and inventory information. Through the app, Tom Tailor customers may access the retailer’s entire catalog across categories including apparel and accessories for men, women and children, in addition to its home collection. This feature affords a magazine-style shopping option using an interactive and intuitive UX. In addition to product lookbooks, the new Tom Tailor mobile app simplifies product navigation and features tools such as built-in cart rules, filter attributes, stock levels and push notification capabilities.
“Mobile sales are a key business driver for Tom Tailor, but to truly capitalize on this channel we had to upgrade our consumer app,” said Hendrik Reuter, Director of eCommerce and Consumer Engagement for Tom Tailor in a statement. “Our new app puts the experience of a flagship store in our customers’ hands.”
