Pacsun has partnered with McDonald’s for an exclusive apparel collection inspired by the fashions and fads of the 1970s. The Pacsun x McDonaldland collection will include men’s and women’s apparel as well as accessories such as snapback and bucket hats, high socks, license plate frames and doormats, all themed with motifs and characters from the McDonaldland fantasy world inhabited by Ronald McDonald, Grimace and the Hamburglar.

“This collaboration with McDonald’s allowed us to tap into a shared history of nostalgia and joy, reimagined through a fashion lens,” said Richard Cox, Chief Merchandising Officer at Pacsun in a statement. “It’s a celebration of core memories, self-expression and our continued mission to meet people where they are, with collectible designs and cultural storytelling they can wear.”

The women’s assortment, in inclusive sizes ranging from XXS to XXL and priced from $10 to $80, includes sweat sets with zip-ups, hoodies, pants and mini shorts, paired with baby tees and accessories such as barrettes, claw clips, scrunchies and totes. The men’s assortment is designed to evoke vintage travel merchandise and landmark souvenirs from McDonaldland destinations like Fry Friends Field, Apple Pie Orchards and Mt. McDonaldland, with design elements referencing classic postcard graphics and fictional team logos.

Pacsun has helped bring the campaign to life through in-person activations at ThriftCon, a special in-app feature as part of the McDonald’s loyalty program on Aug. 12 and an event on Aug. 14 at the Pacsun Soho store in NYC. The collection is now available online and in Pacsun stores across the country.
