Retail TouchPoints and design:retail are in search of the top young professionals in the retail industry for the next class of the 40 Under 40 — the top 40 up-and-coming industry leaders under the age of 40. This year, the publications have expanded nominations to include all roles and job functions in the retail ecosystem — from ecommerce and marketing to innovation and store design.
Now in its seventh year, the 40 Under 40 honors a diverse mix of retail professionals — nominated by their industry peers and selected by our editors — representing an impressive group of rising leaders who are redefining and the fast-evolving future of retail.
If you have any staff members, peers, clients, colleagues or industry friends you think would fit the bill, please nominate them. Nominees must be nominated by a colleague or industry peer. No self-nominated submissions will be accepted. Nominations are free!
The selection criteria includes:

• Nominees must also be 39 years of age or younger on May 31, 2021;
• They are shining stars in their company and in the industry;
• They have completed innovative and remarkable work; and
• They have contributed greatly to education or associations supporting the retail community.
Winners will be profiled in Retail TouchPoints in May 2021 and recognized at an awards celebration, tentatively planned to take place during retailX in Chicago, which runs Aug. 24-25, 2021.
