Real estate investment trust Simon has launched the Simon+ loyalty program, giving members the opportunity to earn cash back, points and perks for shopping at any Simon Mall or Premium Outlets center, as well as on the company’s digital marketplace, ShopSimon.com, and through links to participating retailers’ websites.
More than 500 retailers are already participating in Simon+, including major names such as Warby Parker, JD Sports, True Religion, Untuckit, Adidas, H&M and Shake Shack. There’s no cost for retailers to participate, and Simon+ is designed to complement retailers’ own loyalty programs by reaching high-intent shoppers, encouraging cross-shopping between brands, driving traffic and sales conversion both in-store and online and providing data and metrics to help inform future marketing initiatives.
“We are committed to helping our participating retailers connect with more consumers — and this is just the beginning,” said Lee Sterling, Chief Marketing Officer at Simon in a statement. “Simon+ will continue to evolve, introducing new features and capabilities that respond to retailers’ needs while also providing powerful data-driven opportunities to expand their reach through Simon’s physical and digital channels. Additionally, we will actively gather feedback and insights from our shoppers and build upon the program’s offers and rewards to deliver even greater value and deeper engagement.”
The customer-facing side of Simon+ features an intuitive dashboard where members can find offers, track rewards, upload receipts, link payment cards for points and activate cashback opportunities. Program members can redeem points they’ve earned for retailer rewards or ShopSimon.com credit, and they can earn bonus points by completing tasks like surveys or signing up for text alerts.
Simon+ represents the next generation of Simon’s loyalty program, replacing existing programs including Mall Insider, VIP Shopper Club and ShopSimon Rewards.
“Simon+ is the future of shopping rewards — and there’s truly nothing else like it,” said Sterling. “As we continue to merge the best of in-store and online experiences and make shopping more convenient, Simon+ engages customers where they are and creates more reasons to shop, stay and return.”
Simon has been moving further into management and support for retailers along with its landlord and management roles. In February 2025 Simon partnered with Shopify and physical retail platform Leap to help ecommerce brands move into brick-and-mortar, and in March 2025 Simon’s media division began offering first-party customer data to retailers and brands based on the millions of interactions that take place at Simon’s in-person and digital touch points.
