Inkga Group, owner and operator of 482 Ikea stores and ecommerce in 31 countries, will adopt a solution from Made4net to power fulfillment centers and store operations worldwide. The deployment follows the purchase of Made4net by Ingka Investments, the group’s investment arm.
The Made4net SCExpert platform is designed to help more than 100,000 users deliver faster, more accurate order fulfillment via improved supply chain visibility, enhancing experiences for both associates and Ikea customers.
“Our business currently requires a better fulfillment operations system with more accurate data that better supports handling for our customers,” said Tolga Öncu, Head of Retail at Ingka Group in a statement. “Our goal is to become leaders of life at home, serving more people in an omnichannel reality, whenever and however customers choose to meet us.”
Made4net will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary from its headquarters in New Jersey and six global offices, and CEO Duff Davidson and the company’s leadership team will stay on to manage the company.
