Bealls has adopted a workforce management (WFM) platform from Legion Technologies for demand forecasting, automated scheduling, time and attendance tracking and frontline communications across its 650 stores. The AI-native WFM solution is designed to provide employees with increased autonomy and flexibility in their schedules, a top demand from hourly employees.
“As a family-owned business, Bealls understands the importance of ensuring employees are fulfilled both at work and in their personal lives,” said Sanish Mondkar, CEO and Founder of Legion Technologies in a statement. “Legion is helping businesses enable this crucial balance with intelligent, automated, employee-centric workforce management that maximizes labor efficiency and employee engagement simultaneously.
“By embracing the power of AI, Bealls will deliver a transformed associate experience that truly meets the needs of today’s hourly workforce,” Mondkar added.
In July 2024, Bealls decorated its Roswell, N.M. store to look as if an alien saucer had crashed into it, part of the retailer’s effort to include more localization in its stores. The retailer operates across 22 states under the Bealls, Bealls Florida and Home Centric banners.
