The Bealls store in Roswell, N.M. is celebrating that town’s famed relationship with UFOs and all things extraterrestrial with the installation of immersive space alien artwork, just in time for Roswell’s annual UFO festival.
The move is part of a larger localization effort on the part of Bealls to bring regional flavor to its stores. Stores in Savannah, Ga.; Rockwall, Texas and Gallipolis, Ohio, among others, will receive similar localized treatments in the coming months.
The Roswell Bealls store now features a one-of-a-kind exhibit offering locals and visitors alike the opportunity to engage with Roswell’s storied past. The exhibit consists of exterior and interior spaceship structures with space alien figures, positioned to create the effect of a crash scene at the store’s front entrance. Within the mall hallway outside the store, a display also features a timeline of notable UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) in the area.
Bealls operates 650 stores across 22 states under the banners Bealls, Bealls Florida and Home Centric.
