Oracle announced that its ATG Web Commerce platform delivered a 3X performance improvement on Oracle Exalogic and Oracle Exadata when compared to systems similar in size and configuration. The performance gains were achieved during multiple benchmarking tests. Oracle said the milestone was another step toward helping retailers and other businesses gear e-Commerce operations to handle peak online shopping volumes.
