Build-A-Bear Enhances Shopper Journey by Delivering Relevant Customer Data to Associates’ iPads

Build-A-Bear has rolled out a new mobile-first POS and customer engagement solution from Jumpmind in 450 stores.

Build-A-Bear Workshop has deployed a new cloud-native, mobile-first POS and customer engagement solution in 450 stores across the U.S., Canada and the UK, with plans to roll out the technology in additional geographies over the next year. The Jumpmind technology is helping make the unique shopper journey more seamless and enriching for both shoppers and associates.

For more than 26 years, Build-A-Bear Workshop has become known, and beloved, for its highly interactive visitor experience. As guests venture through the store, they go through the step-by-step process of stuffing, bathing and dressing their new stuffed animals — and participating in a now-iconic Heart Ceremony.

A Seamless, Data-Driven Experience

Bear Builder associates guide customers through this journey to ensure every product is made with care and love and with the implementation of Jumpmind CX Connect, associates will be able to access rich customer data and more robust tools designed to deliver one-to-one personalized experiences via iPads. The iPad-powered experience complements Build-A-Bear’s implementation of Jumpmind Commerce, a cloud-native, mobile-first POS, creating a value-added experience of associates and customers collaborating on building, dressing and accessorizing their new furry friends.
