Outdoor brand YETI has unveiled a new immersive 3D and AR experience for online shoppers. The new feature, created in partnership with technology provider Vertebrae, allows customers to place more than 50 virtual products in their own physical environments, and to view 3D products from every angle to get a visual sense of dimensions, as well as examine the construction, material durability and organization.
YETI has added these 3D and AR visualizations for its signature hard coolers, and also is introducing them for its recently launched premium bag collection, which features an expanded selection of backpacks, duffels and soft luggage.
Shoppers can access visualizations directly from the product detail page without downloading a separate app. Life-sized product can be placed in the home — or anywhere inside or out — and shoppers can zoom in to see technology, features and materials close up.
