Pinterest has unveiled its most extensive holiday shopping experience yet this year, with more than 1,000 shoppable gift guides from celebrities, brands and publishers as well as a range of new shopping tools.

With these new experiences, Pinterest said it hopes to “bridge the gap between digital window shopping and real-world transactions” by helping users find the perfect gift, create personalized shoppable wish lists, and share and shop their gift ideas all in one place.

Among the 2024 holiday offerings on Pinterest are:

  • 1000+ shoppable gift guides spanning 27 categories, from fashion and beauty to travel and gaming. The list includes curated guides from celebrities such as Alicia Keys, Paris Hilton and RuPaul; brands including Rare Beauty, Savage x Fenty, Mejuri, Carhartt and REI; and leading publishers such as Vogue, GQ, Eater and Wirecutter;
  • A “Holiday Finds” tab, which features a personalized feed of gifts Pinterest thinks users will love.
  • A “Quick Save” tool and wish lists: Users can find and save Pins from the gift guides with just one tap, and Pinterest will automatically pull those saved Pins into a shoppable wish list; and

These new shopping features build on the suite of new machine learning-powered tools the platform has rolled out to help brands and retailers highlight their holiday offerings and discounts. These include the ability for retailers to showcase promotions like free shipping, sitewide sales and buy one, get one offers, as well as the Deal ad module, whichmakes ads with special offers more visible to users via a carousel format.

The new tools for users and advertisers also are showcased in Pinterest’s own holiday ad campaign, which features leading creators including Lumberjack Bradley Thor, the 92-year-old Grandma Droniak and comedian Zarna Gar sharing their unexpected holiday wish lists.
