Qurate Retail Group has named Terry Boyle as the new President and CEO of Zulily. He will report to and work in collaboration with Qurate President and CEO David Rawlinson II to develop and implement a strategy for Zulily to optimize both short- and long-term business goals.
Boyle most recently founded and led Behold, a venture-backed online startup focused on women’s fashion. The retailer offers completely personalized shopping experiences driven by data science, personal styling and outfit functionality.
Boyle also has served in multiple leadership roles at other retailers, with an emphasis on driving digital growth. He was the first executive hired at HauteLook in 2008 and joined Nordstrom’s leadership following that company’s acquisition in 2011. There, he led the design and launch of Nordstromrack.com and served as President of Nordstromrack.com and HauteLook. In 2017, he also assumed the role of President, Trunk Club, where he led the strategic reorientation of that business to drive growth.
Boyle began his career at Ernst & Young Consulting, where he helped launch and manage the firm’s Customer Relationship Management global practice.

“Terry brings a blend of deep retail, brand and ecommerce experience, a track record of driving growth, and entrepreneurial instincts,” said Rawlinson in a statement. “I’m looking forward to his fresh perspective and leadership as the company looks to return to growth and refines its delivery of compelling, personalized digital experiences for Zulily’s customers.”
Boyle joins the Qurate family in the midst of a restructuring designed to support two other flagship brands, QVC and HSN. The retailer is aiming to strengthen differentiation between both retailers, and also has launched a new business unit focused on livestreaming to bolster live commerce offerings across its brands.
