Nordstrom will open its third Nordstrom Local store in the New York City area later this month, debuting a 3,000-square-foot neighborhood service hub in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The location will serve as a pickup and returns point for online Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack orders and will accept donations of used clothing and beauty packaging, the latter through the Nordstrom Beautycycle program.
“New York is one of our largest markets and we’re looking forward to opening Nordstrom Local Williamsburg to offer Brooklyn customers even more opportunities to engage with our services closer to where they live and work,” said Fanya Chandler, President of Nordstrom stores in a statement. “We’ve learned a lot from our existing locations in the market and are excited to offer customers more convenience and personalized service.”
Customers also will be able to get alterations and gift wrapping services at the new Nordstrom Local, as well as at existing Local stores in Manhattan’s West Village and Upper East Side.
Nordstrom went private in December 2024 in a $6.25 billion deal engineered by members of the Nordstrom family and Mexican retailer Liverpool.
