Target has entered an exclusive multiyear agreement with FAO Schwarz to begin offering the iconic brand’s toys at Target stores and on target.com starting in October 2022. The curated assortment of toys will feature items at prices ranging from $9.99 to $149.99 as well as product drops all season long.
The assortment will feature more than 120 toys and include a capsule collection celebrating the 160th anniversary of FAO Schwarz. All Target toy departments and target.com will have a dedicated space for FAO Schwarz, and select locations will also launch toy demonstrations throughout the holiday season featuring Target’s toy experts.
“We are incredibly thrilled to partner exclusively with Target after having forged such a successful relationship together over the past couple of years,” said David Niggli, Chief Merchandising Officer at FAO Schwarz in a statement. “There truly is no better way to kick off our 160th anniversary than to announce this partnership. FAO Schwarz has been celebrating the wonder of childhood and bringing awe and discovery to all children — and the child inside all of us — for 160 years, and now families everywhere across the U.S. can enjoy this experience at their local Target store.”
Additionally, the 2022 Bullseye’s Top Toys List will be presented by FAO Schwarz and detail 50 of the most anticipated toys and games available at Target. The list includes toy from brands including Disney, LOL Surprise, Mattel and FAO Schwarz, and certain selections will appear at a pop-up shop inside FAO Schwarz’s New York City flagship in Rockefeller Center.

Target first partnered with FAO Schwarz for holiday 2020, when the two retailers launched an exclusive 70-piece toy collection. Target also has experience with branded in-store experiences due to earlier collaborations with Disney.
