L Brands has made multiple C-level leadership changes at Victoria’s Secret, including the promotion of Martin Waters to CEO of Victoria’s Secret Lingerie. Other appointments included Laura Miller as Chief Human Resources Officer of Victoria’s Secret; Janie Schaffer as Chief Design Officer of Victoria’s Secret Lingerie; and Becky Behringer as EVP of North America Store Sales and Operations at Victoria’s Secret.
Waters joined L Brands in 2008 as head of the retailer’s international division. In this role, he expanded the brand’s early global efforts into a fleet of 700 stores across the world. He also has served as Managing Director at Boots International, a European health and beauty retailer. In his new role, Waters will report directly to Stuart Burgdoerfer, Interim CEO of Victoria’s Secret and CFO of L Brands.
Miller has more than 30 years of human resources experience at large global organizations, most recently as Chief Human Resources Officer at Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. She also has led human resources at ADT and Coca Cola Refreshments.
Schaffer previously served as Director of Lingerie and Beauty at Marks and Spencer. She was with L Brands from 2008 to 2012 as the Head of Design for Victoria’s Secret Lingerie and founded UK-based lingerie brand Knickerbox earlier in her career.
