Temu Streamlines U.S. Seller Onboarding Processes

China-based discount retailer Temu has adopted solutions from Rithum (formerly CommerceHub and ChannelAdvisor) to simplify onboarding of U.S. sellers. Now, Rithum users can quickly sync product data with their Temu storefront and publish listings in bulk, with minimal setup requirements. The integration also offers two-way syncing of inventory and shipments, enabling immediate updates and more efficient fulfillment.

Since opening its platform to U.S. sellers in November 2024, Temu has been growing its network of local merchants. Currently, sellers list products in more than 600 categories, ranging from home décor to pantry staples.

“Temu continues to introduce tools and resources that help sellers succeed,” said a Temu spokesperson in a statement. “Our partnership with Rithum makes it easier for sellers to manage their operations, improve efficiency and reach more customers, supporting their market expansion and long-term growth.”

In April 2025 Temu partnered with Eurofins Consumer Product Testing to support greater transparency in its product safety processes. Later that month, Temu and its discount rival Shein raised prices due to the impact of tariffs and the closing of the de minimus loophole.
