Sweaty Betty, a British retailer specializing in women’s activewear, has partnered with Cegid, a provider of enterprise management and vertical software solutions, to help improve the omnichannel customer experience.
With more than 30 boutiques across the UK, as well as aspirations to expand further into the U.S., Sweaty Betty needed a software partner that “understood our business, shared our passion for retail and had the ability to support our expansion,” said Mark Smith, CFO of Sweaty Betty. “Cegid has helped many UK retailers expand into the U.S., including Ted Baker and Barbour. This gave us confidence in their ability to support us today and in any future markets we wish to expand into.” The first Sweaty Betty U.S. store opened in Soho, New York City, during August 2013.
Using the Yourcegid Retail solution, Sweaty Betty will have real-time, 360-degree access to inventory levels, as well as customer shopping behaviors and preferences online and in stores. As a result, the retailer expects to improve customer service and stock management, as well as create more memorable and relevant brand interactions.
