Charitable foundation Retail Orphan Initiative (RetailROI) raised a total of $360,000 during its annual Super Saturday event prior to the NRF BIG Show; $5,000 of the money collected was in honor of Barry Wise, longtime senior marketing consultant for Epson.
Proceeds from the event are designated to causes that help children in need around the globe.
“The $5,000 raised in Barry’s name is enough to feed 125 children for a year,” commented Greg Buzek, President of IHL Group. “The organization is using the money for a kitchen in Honduras, which will help feed 650 children and staff a day when it’s completed.”
