1-800-Flowers.com, which already uses the Uber Direct white-label delivery service for merchants, will now appear directly on the Uber Eats app just in time for Mother’s Day. The service, available in select markets, allows customers to browse offerings from more than 300 participating local florist partners for on-demand and scheduled deliveries. By summer 2025, both brands expect that more than 500 locations will be live on the app.

“We’re always looking for new ways to deliver smiles, and this expanded partnership with Uber Eats helps us do just that,” said Jon Feldman, President of BloomNet at 1-800-Flowers.com in a statement. “With Mother’s Day around the corner, we’re excited to make it even easier for people to celebrate the important women in their lives with beautiful, high-quality arrangements delivered quickly and reliably.”

Flowers remain a top Mother’s Day gift, selected by 74% of gift-givers for a total spend of $3.2 billion, according to data from the National Retail Federation (NRF). 1-800-Flowers.com expects to deliver 17.8 million stems this year, including 6.9 million roses and 2.8 million tulips. The NRF projects total Mother’s Day spending of $34.1 billion this year, up from $33.5 billion in 2024.
