Pier 1 Imports, a home furnishings and gifts retailer, has selected Demandware to deliver on the company’s omnichannel strategy, including an e-Commerce-enabled Pier1.com web site, launched in July 2012, and a new mobile commerce site. Both sites operate on the Demandware Commerce platform.
The Demandware solution set provides Pier 1 a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that serves shoppers regardless of channel, device or location and is designed to deliver a consistent brand experience across channels. Currently, the retailer operates more than 1,000 stores across the U.S. and Canada.

Demandware powers a number of omnichannel customer experiences for Pier 1, including: e-Commerce Site-to-Store, e-Commerce Direct Shipping, and Endless Aisle.
