NCR Corporation has added a rewards component to its NCR Silver iPad POS solution.
With the new feature, small businesses can implement loyalty rewards programs into their cross-channel marketing strategies. By integrating their programs with the email and social media marketing functionality within NCR Silver, retailers can engage with customers across all channels.
Rewards and customer information are stationed within a single repository, so retailers can apply rewards and loyalty points in real time. Consumers also can see updates made to their accounts as each transaction is completed.

“I send a personal note after every sale and people really respond to that,” said Patrick Harkins, Owner of Fondren Guitars, an NCR customer. “When they come back, I look at their order histories to see their preferences and recommend just the right guitar or accessory.”
