Linguastat, a provider of automated e-Commerce content solutions, has introduced an e-Commerce description services suite called Marquee. The solution, which creates product descriptions using artificial intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Generation (NLG) technologies, optimizes product data for Google PLAs (now Google Shopping Campaigns) and other SEO and SEM engines and dynamically updates content based on consumer response.

Marquee updates content based on analysis of key e-Commerce metrics, including search queries, site traffic and conversion rates. In addition to optimizing item descriptions for improved SEO and SEM performance across any consumer device, Marquee personalizes content for different customer profiles and behavioral groups, creating unique non-duplicated product variants, even for the same product.
Marquee can scale up to create descriptions for tens of thousands of SKUs in minutes and at a fraction of the cost of manual creation. The solution also uses a benchmarking process to rate the effectiveness of a retailer’s existing e-Commerce product data feed and digital content.
