Digital Foodie Expands Beyond Grocery As Digital Goodie

Digital Foodie, an online grocery platform, is rebranding itself as Digital Goodie and expanding its connected commerce platform beyond food to all retail segments. The updated service is a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solution designed to enable picking times that are up to 50% faster than industry benchmarks, according to the company.

The platform runs on top of a microservices architecture, which allows retailers to update or replace individual components as needed. Customers can use Digital Goodie services off the shelf or combine them with third-party components. Existing customers include S Group, one of the largest retail chains in the Nordic countries, and Village Beach Market, a family-owned grocery store and member of the Independent Grocers Alliance.
