Caché, a nationwide specialty retailer of lifestyle sportswear and dresses, has selected RetailNext to provide in-store traffic management and real-time monitoring capabilities in 261 stores in 43 states. Caché expects the solution to help identify trends, discover the best times to allocate staffing resources and determine the effectiveness of promotions and marketing programs.
RetailNext is designed to enable retailers and manufacturers to collect, analyze, and visualize in-store data — providing store operations executives with the insights needed to grow same-store sales, reduce theft and cut costs. Video analytics, on-shelf sensors, point-of-sale systems and other sources are leveraged to inform retailers about how shoppers engage with their stores.
“We’re excited to be rolling out traffic counters to most of the Caché chain,” according to a Caché spokesperson, in a RetailNext press release. “We believe that installing [this solution] will provide us with better information and intuitive access to data that we have not had available before this roll-out. We expect that we will be able uncover opportunities for improving the shopping experience that otherwise would be invisible to us.”
