BevMo! Tests Curbside Pickup In Two Locations

BevMo!, an alcoholic beverage retailer, has introduced its curbside pickup pilot program in two of its Bay Area stores. The retailer designated parking spots for the program at its Walnut Creek store and at one of its San Francisco locations.

The program is designed to provide customers with free curbside delivery with no minimum purchase amount required. Customers order online and text “PICKUP” to the number listed on the designated area’s Curbside Pickup sign. A BevMo! employee will then walk out and deliver the purchased items.

“Enhancing the customer experience is an integral part of our strategy, from robotic assistance in-store and door-to-door deliveries to more personalized communications and offers,” said Dimitri Haloulos, CEO of BevMo! in a statement. “This will serve as a pilot program, with the intent to roll out the curbside delivery offering to additional stores in the coming months.”
