Ascential Combines Brands To Launch E-Commerce Data Solution

Ascential plc, a global information company, has combined services from its existing brands to launch Edge by Ascential, an e-Commerce data and insights service for brand manufacturers and retailers.

The company, which acquired Clavis Insight earlier this year, is bringing together foundational elements from Clavis, Brand View, One Click Retail, and PlanetRetail RNG to provide clients with data, insights and advisory solutions to measure e-Commerce performance and drive sales.

  • Weekly, daily and real-time digital shelf performance metrics;
  • Monitoring of price movements, promotions, availability, product content changes and new product listings;
  • SKU- and category-level online sales and share;
  • Traffic, search optimization and conversion measurements;
  • In-depth price and promotion analytics and benchmarking;
  • Competitive and market intelligence; and
  • Omnichannel go-to-market and market optimization strategies.
